Burna Boy sweeps some awards in 2020, including the Grammys, BET, MOBO, Brits, Edison award and so on with certifications in different global music markets.

Wizkid came with his fourth studio album in 2020 to practically change the game in the Nigerian music industry.

Wizkid was the first Africa to have his song certified platinum in the USA, sold out the O2 3times, first Nigerian song to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at #9, spent multiple weeks at #1 on the Billboard World Albums chart, Highest peaking Nigerian album on BillBoard 200.

He Won an MTV EMA award, got nominated in two categories at the Grammys, was nominated 5 times at the SoulTrain award and won one (first Nigerian song to be nominated at Soultrain), first-ever Apple music Africa artiste of the year and winning 2 MOBO awards on one night.

However, it is the greatest run in the history of the Nigerian music industry as he breaks and sets records in Nigeria and Africa at large.
