set to crack the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the music industry standard record chart in the US.

DML, Nigeria’s global music sensation, has beaten Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas’ to the top spot on the UK’s Apple music chart with his Peru remix and is now set to crack the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Fireboy recently collaborated with international artist Ed Sheeran on a remix of his big track “Peru.”

The song has barely been out for a week, yet it has already surpassed Mariah Carey’s Christmas season hit to take the first position on the international list.

Fireboy and Ed Sheeran’s collaboration has been positively received by fans all over the world, who appear to enjoy Sheeran’s innovation in reworking Fireboy’s already popular single.

On July 12, 2021, Nigerian superstar, Wizkid’s song, ‘Essence’ became the first Nigerian song to crack the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This comes after the song cracked the Billboard Bubbling Under Charts for the first time. This marks a remarkable achievement for afrobeat and a new height for the Nigerian music industry.

On September 27, 2021, the Warner Nigerian Africa act, recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 record, Ckay’s global smash hit, ‘Love Nwantiti’ moved up 15 places to No. 35 on the Billboard 200. One week earlier, it sat at No. 50.

Then in 2022, comes Fireboy DML, the young force took a leap into the front scene in 2018 with his dynamic single, ‘Jealous‘; a rendition delivered in pop, and RnB, of which he later ascribed to his own sound, ‘Afro-life’.

Journeying into the mainstream the singer released his debut project the year after, November 2019, “Laughter Tears & Goosebumps (LTG).”

Upon arrival, Fireboy sprung into a superstar cadre, having to compete for the Next Rated Of The Year.

Then, the following year on the 19th of August, 2020, Fireboy DML released his second studio album, “Apollo“!

Just like his debut release in characterization to the Roman god, Apollo was a stand-out project.
